Seventeen Meets Honor Society

An Interview Posted by Seventeen Magazine....

Honor Society is an up-and-coming rock band with catchy songs and a huge MySpace following that has earned them a spot as the opening act for The Jonas Brothers. They describe themselves as sounding like a "Justin Timberlake rock project" with heavy Michael Jackson and urban influences that help mold their pop/rock sound. Michael, Jason, Andrew, and Alexander are four A+ cuties who dress to impress and should be making a big splash in 2009.

We got a chance to catch up with the guys when they stopped by the Seventeen offices to bring us up to speed on their rising music career.

Seventeen:
How did you come up with the name Honor Society? Were you all good students?

Source

Honor Society: We were all good students and we all really enjoyed school. Coming up with a band name is usually very difficult. We were called Airborn for a while and had to come up with a new name. I brought the name Honor Society to the band and it fit our style and our vibe.

17: How would you describe your style?

HS:
Deconstructed, collegiate, preppy rocker - very Polo Rugby with some rock edge.

17: What's it like hanging out with The Jonas Brothers?

HS:
They've really become an extended part of our family. They have really taken us under their wing. They are extremely down-to-earth - you don't even realize you're with such huge superstars.

17:
What do you guys look for in a girl?

HS: A sense of humor is a must and someone with a nice smile. We are on the run constantly, so someone to have a good conversation with on the phone. A good sense of style and pretty eyes help too.

17: Who are your celebrity crushes?

HS: Scarlett Johansson, Megan Fox, Hayley Williams from Paramore, Kristen Bell.
